In the quarterfinals, Samantha Holt pitched a shutout and Emily Hatheway scored twice in No. 3 Andover’s 4-0 win over No. 6 Amesbury – and Jane Farrell wore the hat and had an assist, Taylor Perella turned those numbers around with 1-3-4, Chloe Castellano had 1-2-3 and Samantha DePasquale three assists in No. 4 Burlington’s 9-1 handling of No. 5 Burlington Red.
In the semifinals, Eleanor Knutzen scored all four goals in Winchester’s 4-1 win over Burlington – and Emily Wood (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tied with :28 left and gave No. 2 Wakefield a 4-2 victory over Andover, which got both goals from Gabrielle Hindin.
In the final game, Jess Thulin (2-2-4) scored the winning goal with 11.3 seconds remaining, Knutzen had 1-2-3 and Caitlin Ryan 1-1-2 as Winchester pulled out a 5-4 victory over Wakefield, which got 1-2-3 from Gabriella Moscato and two goals from Bailey Finocchio.
