ELITE

The Maine Academy and Wilmington both won twice. Sam Laroche scored with 5:34 left to give Maine a 2-1 decision over Lynnfield/Saugus – and Caden Smith wore the hat and Nash Davies pitched a shutout in a 6-0 triumph over Winchester; Justin Crowley scored a minute into the third period, Chrisn Robarge’s second goal of the game followed with 4:56 remaining and Ryann Barrett then came through 1:38 later as Wilmington rallied for a 4-3 win over Winchester, Luke Mix with two goals in the loss – and Matt Pendenza snapped a 1-1 tie with 8:53 left in the second period of a 3-1 victory over Waltham;

Alec Hess scored what turned out to be the winner early in the second period as Portland edged the Crusaders 3-1; William Ranaldo and Robert Tashjian both scored twice as Lynnfield/Saugus defeated Winchester 4-1; and Kevin Greene pitched a shutout and Alex Miller scored late in the first period of Waltham’s 3-0 win over the Crusaders.

AAA

Tewksbury won a game and tied Tewksbury and Concord won a game and also tied Tewksbury in the North. Kyle Morris scored two goals and set up another and Justin Petti had two assists in Tewksbury’s 4-1 win over Winthrop; Connor Jones scored with 1:33 left to give Tewksbury a 1-1 tie with Natick, Andrew Christlieb with a first-period goal for Natick; Zack Painchaud snapped a 3-3 tie 37 seconds into the third period and Brett Patnode had three assists in Concord’s 5-3 victory over Groton, Trent Costa with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Andrew Kittler scored early in the second period, ending the scoring and giving Natick a 1-1 tie with Concord, Hayden Parent with a first-period goal for Concord;

Corey Cherico and Luke McPhail both had a goal and an assist and Jack Silva and Matt Hurley both posted two assists in Winthrop’s 6-2 win over Wellesley – Henry Gould with both goals in the loss; Matt McMahon scored with 6:06 left and Costa then delivered 1:27 later to give Groton a 3-3 tie with the Sharks, Russell Thompson with two assists for Groton and San Sheeran 1-1-2 for the Sharks; Birmingham and Richmond scored in the first period as Newburyport edged Wellesley 2-1; and Nate Brennan pitched a shutout and Ryan Oosting scored early in Arlington’s 1-0 decision over Groton.

Reading (one loss) won three times, Lexington/Bedford had two wins and a tie, North Andover also won twice and Newton had a win and tied Lexington/Bedford in the South. Nate Sidel scored one goal and dished out three assists, Brennan Fiske clicked for 2-1-3 and Matt Harding and Chris Walsh both had 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 6-1 victory over SMS; Dave McCarthy pitched a shutout and Bobby Marcus scored early in a 3-0 win over Framingham; Baxter Cardamone scored what turned out to be the winner with 8:12 left as Newton edged Belmont 4-3, Mike Hardy with 1-1-2 in the loss; – and Harry Clark scored with 1:41 left to give Newton a 2-2 tie with Lexington/Bedford; Mateo Cappuccio scored one goal and set up three others and Cam McKenna posted 1-1-2 in Reading’s 4-1 victory over Andover; Camden Greenwood and Charlie Miele scored in the first period of a 3-1 win over the Maine Academy – and Brendan Hannabury pitched a shutout and McKenna scored in the second period of a 2-0 decision over NH East; Tom Fredo scored twice, Nick Herald had 1-1-2 and Kyle Hooley snapped a 2-2 tie with 8:07 left in the second period as North Andover downed Reading 4-2 – and James Rogus pitched a shutout and Ned Malolepszy scored early in the second period of a 2-0 win over Marblehead; Luke Murphy giving L/B the lead 12 seconds into the third period;

In another game, Mike Kelly wore the hat and added an assist and Anthony Fresolone scored one goal and dished out two assists in Marblehead’s 4-2 win over Maine.

Triboro and NH East (one loss) both won twice and Stoneham had a win and a tie in the North. Joe LaFollette had a goal and an assist and Jack Taylor two assists in Triboro’s 4-2 victory over Parkway – and Pete Lemoine (one assist) capped a hat trick with 46 seconds left to give Triboro a 4-3 decision over Waltham, Cam Calocci with two assists in the win and Robert DiMaggio 1-1-2 in the loss; Justin Szymanski pitched a shutout and Cam Allen scored 22 seconds into the third period as NH east nipped Melrose 2-0 – and Carissa Towlson scored two third-period goal, Jack Suhesky assisted on both and also scored a goal in a 3-01 decision over Methuen; Matt Soucy scored all four goals as Stoneham topped Waltham 4-2 – and Alex Crook scored twice in the second period to give Natick a 2-2 tie with Stoneham;

Ryan Purcell scored with 57 seconds left to give Danvers a 4-3 victory over NH East – Will Flynn with two goals and Nick Ippolito two assists in the win and Billy Downes two goals in the loss; Brendan Butler posted 1-1-2 and Ryan Prendergast had two assists in Parkway’s 4-1 victory over Needham; Curran Davis had 1-1-2 and Eddie Adams and Ian Beeley scored 1:48 apart in the second period as Methuen downed Melrose 4-1; Will Haskell’s second goal of the game, with 1:04 remaining, gave Natick a 6-5 decision over Needham – Teddy Flynn and Aiden Hawley with two assists apiece in the win and Luke Bryson a hat trick, Nate Harrington two goals and Jared McEvoy two assists in the loss; and Finn Brophy pitched a shutout and Nick Fonzi scored early as Agawam edged Burlington 1-0. 

Acton-Boxboro and Medford both won twice in the South. Dan Paxton wore a natural hat in a 2:08 span early in the third period and Craig Jackson pitched a shutout in Acton-Boxboro’s 6-0 victory over Beverly – and Nick Brown dished out five assists, Jack Bartle wore a natural hat and added an assists, Barrett Genovese posted 1-2-3 and Chris Dove also had two assists in a 7-1 triumph over Winchester; Jared McDonald and Tom Connearney both scored twice in Medford’s 6-1 victory over Arlington – and William Franczak wore a hat and Connearney assisted on two of the goals in a 3-0 victory over Winchester;

Jack Gray scored one goal and dished out two assists and Brian Cebula scored twice in Greater Lowell’s 6-2 win over Winchester; Tom Bedard pitched a shutout and Cam Panaro scored twice as Haverhill/Pentucket slipped by the Edge 3-0; Ryan Watson wore the hat and added three assists, Matt Sostilio scored four goals and set up another and Roger Decker and Jake Despres both also had three assists in Framingham’s big win over South Boston; Jon Linehan was in goal for Beverly and Nolan Lacroix and Chris Slater for the Edge in a 0-0 tie; Carson Priante wore a natural hat and Aram Tashjian added two assists in Newton’s 5-2 win over Woburn; and Will Carpenter scored four goals, Joe Guarino posted 2-1-3, Robert Bryan had 1-1-2 and Christian Jepson two assists in Woburn’s 7-3 victory over Newton.

Reading won three times, Wellesley and Twin City both won twice and Chelmsford and the Crusaders both posted a win and a tie in the East. Colin Mulvey scored twice, Charlie Presho had two assists and James McTaggert scored what turned out to be the winner with 8:39 left as Reading trimmed Triton 5-2; Spencer Murrin pitched a shutout and Mulvey scored twice in the first period of a 2-0 victory over Cape Ann – and Alex Derboghosian scored with 2:22 and Nick Marshall followed with 1:13 remaining to give Reading a 4-3 decision over Cape Ann, Trystan Bourque with 1-1-2 and Brian Marshall two assists in the win and Matt Connelly 2-1-3 in the loss; Chris Maul scored with 7:17 remaining to give Wellesley a 2-1 decision over Somerville – and Canaday scored twice in the third period for a 3-2 win over Triton, Luke Cole with 1-1-2 and Brad Killian two assists in the loss; Jacob Mauro wore the hat and Anthony Tocci had a goal and an assist in Twin City’s 5-1 victory over the Crusaders – and Dante Giannunzio wore the hat and had an assist, Tocci delivered a goal and three assists and No. 27 added two assists in a 7-3 triumph over Concord; Jack Hart scored twice in Chelmsford’s 4-1 victory over the Starhawks – and Joe Cornetta (one assist) and Brian Ellis scored 1:20 apart late in the second period to give Nashoba 3-3 tie with Chelmsford, Kevin Sousa 1-1-2 for Chelmsford; Devin Rochelle pitched a shutout and Cole Reeves scored with 44 seconds left in the second period as the Crusaders trimmed Nashoba 1-0 – and Woody Garrigan scored with 4:51 left to give the Crusaders a 2-2 tie with the Sharks, who had taken the lead when Mark Charron scored 32 seconds before Garrigan re-tied it;

Kevin Bruen snapped a 1-1 tie with 2:25 left in the second period as Hyde Park nipped Dorchester 3-1; and Merkel wore the hat and had an assist, snapping a 5-5 tie with 2:02 left as Somerville got by Hyde Park 7-5 – No. 5 with 1-1-2 and Cary two assists in the win and Joe Loewen posting 2-2-4, Aidan Coulter also scoring twice and Bruen also delivering two assists in the loss.

Everett/Revere, Andover and Groton all won twice in the West. Marc Giordano wore a natural hat, scoring once in each period as Everett/Revere downed Waltham 3-0 – and Ronan Valdarese had 2-1-3, scoring what turned out to be the winner with 5:15 left, and Giordano had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 decision over Cambridge; Shea wore a natural hat and added an assist, Lareau dished out three assists and Weiner posted 1-1-2 in Andover’s 7-0 victory over NH East – and O’Sullivan had 1-2-3 and Moulton scored twice in a 5-2 victory over Stoneham, Mike Shannon with 1-1-2 in the loss; Horgan handed out three assists, Krawczyk scored twice and Freeman had 1-1-2 in Groton’s 5-2 victory over SMS – and Krawczyk wore the hat, Freeman posted 1-2-3 and Keene pitched a shutout in a 5-0 win over Needham;

Ethan Winer wore the hat and snapped a 2-2 tie in the third period as SMS got by Framingham 4-2; Alec Sheehan scored twice, snapping a 1-1 tie with 4:27 left, and Shannon had two assists as Stoneham nipped NH East 3-1; Connor Lynch wore the hat and added an assist as the Crusaders defeated Dedham 6-1; and Zach Korbin pitched a shutout, Jack Lenox had 2-1-3 and Will Carr 1-1-2 in Waltham’s 3-0 victory over NH East.

The Outlaws and Peabody both won twice in the North. Carter Hall scored four goals to lead the Outlaws past Twin City 5-2, Maliq Preko-Bourque with both goals in the loss – and Jay Earley pitched a shutout and Tom Snow posted 1-1-2 in a 2-0 win over Billerica; Sam Jenkins, Nick Lennon and Mike Zarro scored in a 2:11 span midway through the third period to give Peabody a 4-3 decision over Lexington/Bedford – and Chris Grout wore the hat in a 6-1 win over Woburn;

Josh Garrity wore the hat and had an assist, Lincoln Blodgett and Keegan Murphy both posted 1-1-2 and William Billiel pitched a shutout in North Central’s 8-0 win over Concord-Carlisle; MacDonald wore the hat and had an assist, Kirby posted 1-1-2 and Patrie scored what turned out to be the winner with 18 seconds left in the second period as Lynn trimmed Lexington/Bedford 7-5 – Brendan Vaughn with 1-2-3 and Brian Gillis 1-1-2 in the loss; D’Ambrosio’s second goal of the game, with 4:34 left, was the winner, Doherty had 1-1-2 and Solomon two assists as North Andover edged Woburn 4-3 – Evynn McComisky with 1-2-3, Scott Logcher two goals and Ryan Dresner two assists in the loss; Raffi Bauer pitched a shutout and Brett Zaorski scored midway through the first period as Wellesley edged Agawam 1-0; Mike Giles posted 1-1-2 as Lexington/Bedford topped Wellesley 5-1; Ryan Evers scored what turned out to be the winner with 4:42 left in the second period as Agawam trimmed Lexington/Bedford 3-1; Ben Jachinowski and Mihir Sighn shared the shutout and Jake Harvey ended Ryan Gutierrez’s shutout bid with 2:04 left to give Concord-Carlisle a 1-0 decision over Billerica; and Andrew Hadden wore the hat, Joe McEvoy had two assists and Billy McCarthy came within 2:32 of a shutout in Triboro’s 4-1 win over North Central.

The Demons, Wakefield and Natick all won twice in the South. Alex Amalfi scored twice and Jack Hilgren had two assists as the Demons downed Medfield 6-4, Pertachi with a goal and two assists, Thach two goals and O’Connor 1-1-2 in the loss – and Amalfi posted 1-1-2 and Jamie Kennally pitched a shutout in a 5-0 victory over Natick; Matt Lanzarone and Brendan Vacca (second goal) scored 28 seconds apart late in the second period as Wakefield edged Marblehead 3-2 – and Jake Dubiel came within 40 seconds of a shutout, Augustino Cherico scoring, Vacca had two assists and Joe Alden scored what turned out to be the winner with 9:04 left in a 3-1 decision over Winthrop; Logan Pfaler set up four goals, Declan O’Connor had 2-1-3, scoring what turned out to be the winner with 10:15 left, and John Stafford and Eli Kaplan both posted 1-1-2 as Natick edged Wilmington 5-4, Max Shapiro with 2-1-3 and Anthony Bowker two assists in the loss – and Pfaler scored four goals and dished out two assists and Adham Abji also had two assists in a 7-1 win over the Sharks;

Chris McCann scored twice in North Reading’s 4-1 victory over Wilmington; Vachon and Thach both scored twice and Perachi posted 1-1-2 in Medfield’s 5-2 win over Sharks – Nick Spanos with 1-1-2 in the loss; Brian Reilly scored with 59 seconds left to give Lynnfield/Saugus a 5-5 tie with NH east – Alex Salvo with 1-2-3, Jack Callahan three assists and Nick Kosmos two goals for L/S and Andrew Madden 2-2-4 for NHE; Jacob Smith scored the winner with 10:18 left and Dylan Sadowski had 1-1-2 as the Edge nipped Marblehead 3-2 – Ryan Baker with 1-1-2 in the loss; and No. 10 scored the winner with 1:26 left in the second period as Winthrop edged Lynnfield/Saugus 3-2.

Nashoba and Masco both won twice in the East. Tom Germann scored twice and Aidan Timlin had a goal and an assist in Nashoba’s 4-1 victory over Burlington – and Germann and Jack Dunning both scored twice, Ben Foley had two assists and Roger Carter pitched a shutout in a 6-0 win over Melrose; Giacchino wore the hat, D’Attilio posted 2-1-3, Goddard and Arsenault both also scored twice, Guarino had two assists and Geannaris pitched a shutout in Masco’s big win over Melrose – and Callahan scored one goal and dished out three assists, McKenna posted 2-1-3 and Glynn 1-1-2 in a 5-2 victory over Andover;

Matt Bonanno scored twice as Burlington downed Cape Ann 4-2; Varlan Ferragamo wore the hat, Phil Fitzsimmons set up three goals, Kevin Reddington had two assists and the Starhawks scored five goals in the second period and trimmed Waltham 6-3 – Blaide Trodden with 1-1-2 in the loss; Alex Cusumano and Frew Rowen (second goal) scored 1:17 apart early in the third period as Cape Ann got my Newburyport 4-2 – Peter Wiehe and Cole Olson with 1-1-2 apiece in the loss; Jackson Jacobo-Zudec had 1-2-3 to lead Arlington past Parkway 3-2 – Robert Mcneil with both goals and Connor Stowe assists on both in the loss; Fionn O’Connor pitched a shutout, Henri Boulerice dished out two assists and Nick Tuossolo scored with 12.4 seconds left in the first period of Newton’s 3-0 win over  Arlington; Sam Petitpas posted 1-1-2 and Andres Pinto pitched a shutout in Parkway’s 6-0 victory over Waltham; Conneely Mullan posted 1-1-2 and Ed Hassler pitched a shutout in Belmont’s 4-0 win over Brookline; Chase Ellingwood scored the winner with 3:36 left and Jake Shapiro had two assists as Framingham edged the Sharks 3-2 – Jacob Berger with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Nolan Schirmer scored one goal and dished out three assists, Jonathan Pelletier had 2-1- and Zach Roughan pitched a shutout in Andover’s 5-0 victory over Burlington.

Winchester won two games and tied one, Greater Lowell and the Crusaders both won twice and Waltham wore two ties, one against Winchester, in the West. Adam Bockhoff scored twice, Derek Kimball and Will Bartlett both posted 1-1-2, Jack Nixon had two assists and Aaron Zakarian and Cam Cassidy shared the shutout Winchester stopped Lexington/Bedford 7-0; Camilo Vozzella scored the winner with 8:06 left, Brendan Gill scored twice, Pat Collins had 1-1-2 and Bartlett two assists in a 5-3 victory over newton, Poole with 2-1-3 in the loss; Kimball, who also had two assists, scored with two seconds left to give Winchester a 3-3 tie with Waltham, Tom Santolucito (1-2-3) with a go-ahead goal with 1:09 left and Chris Kelleher two assists for Waltham – and Kelleher scored with 6:47 left to give Waltham a 2-2 tie with Medford; Josh Ratnoff scored four goals and set up another and Cole Bolduc had a goal and two assists in Lowell’s 6-1 victory over Groton – and Ratnoff posted 2-2-4 and Shayne MacDonald had 1-1-2 in a 5-2 win over North Central, Nathan Jorge with 1-1-2 in the loss; Neal Duffy scored twice and the Crusaders nipped SMS 3-1 – and Leary Moore set up two goals and Wes McRoy pitched a shutout in a 4-0 triumph over Groton;

Beverly’s Aidan Foley and Ryan Bergin of Dorchester swapped early goals 56 seconds apart and the teams went on to a 1-1 tie; and Kevin Silva started the rally with 8:01 left, Dave Pekkala followed with 2:24 remaining and Tom Roch then scored with 10.5 seconds left to give Chelmsford a 3-2 decision over North central – Jorge with a goal and an assist in the loss.

The Edge and Reading both had a win and a tie in the Central. Billy Carr snapped a 3-3 tie with 1:54 left, Jack Morgan had a goal and two assists and Ty Martin scored twice as the Edge got by Wellesley 5-3 – and Cam Cole and Carr scored third-period goals, Carr delivering with 3:13 left to give the Edge a 3-3 tie with the Crusaders; Matt Gorman scored twice and Kyle Simard had two assists as Reading nipped Woburn 3-2 – and Simard scored twice in the second period to wipe out a two-goal deficit, end the scoring and give Reading a 2-2 tie with Haverhill/Pentucket, H/P with two goals in the first period;

In the other game, Pat Doherty scored twice and Chris Tammaro had a goal and an assist in Woburn’s 3-1 victory over Twin City.
