North Andover won twice. Roycroft, who also had an assist, scored the winner with 4:24 left and D’Ambrosio also had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over NH East – and Faulkner scored twice, Roycroft and Doherty both posted two assists and Williamson pitched a shutout in a 5-0 win over Lexington/Bedford;
Zach Drew scored one goal and set up another, Graham Lewis scored what turned out to be the winner with 2:49 left and Concord scored three in the third period as edged Greater Lowell 3-2; Kevin McMaster scored with 7:55 left and then assisted on the tying goal with two seconds remaining as Lynnfield/Saugus pulled out a 2-2 tie with Marblehead; Tristan Vincent pitched a shutout and Griffin Coir had 2-1-3 in Newburyport’s 3-0 win over the Crusaders; Gavin Simopolous wore the hat as Maine edged NH East 5-4 – Kevin Higgins with two assists in the loss; and Luke Vaccaro, who also had an assist, scored his second goal of the game 36 seconds into the third period as Andover tied the Sharks 3-3.
Waltham won twice in the North behind a pair of Jack Perry shutouts; Mike Boschetto and Ryan Provencher scoring 55 seconds apart late in the first period of a 2-0 victory over Stoneham – and Ryland Thomas scored twice and Jordan Laudani had 1-1-2 in a 4-0 win over Newton;
Brendan Butler scored one goal and set up two others and Mike Murray also had two assists in Parkway’s 5-3 win over Acton-Boxboro – Nikolas Anestis with all three goals in the loss; Callow capped a hat trick with 9:58 left to give South Boston a 4-3 decision over Somerville – Aidan Johnson with two goals in the loss; George Gibson scored with 2:06 left to give Agawam a 4-3 decision over Newton – Kyle Kahwi with 1-1-2 in the win and Cohen two goals in the loss; Nico Russo scored with 25 seconds left to give Medford a 2-1 victory over Danvers – Mike Holt with assists on both goals in the win; Alec Sheehan and James Gorman both scored twice, Terence Moynihan had 1-1-2 and Mike Shannon two assists in Stoneham’s 7-2 triumph over Woburn; Jack McDonald wore the hat and Johnson had two assists as Somerville trimmed Agawam 4-1; and Angelo Ritacco scored twice, including the goal that turned out to be the winner with 10:18 left, and had two assists, Connor Lynch posted 2-1-3 and Nick Buoniconti three assists as the Crusaders edged Winchester 6-5 – Josh Wang with 1-1-2 and Derek Kimball two assists in the loss.
Burlington won twice in the South. Dan Sullivan delivered a goal and an assist, Brian O’Neil had two assists and Andrew Hickey came within 2:27 of a shutout in a 3-1 victory over Newton – and Joe Fournier scored what turned out to be the winner with 7:29 left as Burlington nipped Melrose 3-2;
Colby Scott scored twice, Declan and Jake Murphy both had a goal and an assist and James Trussell came within 20 seconds of a shutout in a 4-1 win over Wellesley; Rao scored twice and Hankey posted 1-1-2 as SMS defeated Hyde Park 5-2 – Wi. Stockwell with 1-1-2 in the loss; Lukas Foley-Fiore pitched a shutout and Will Cooper scored 57 seconds into the game as Medfield downed Arlington 3-0; Sean Feeney scored twice, Ben Payne scored had 1-1-2 and Max Garside pitched a shutout in Dorchester’s 5-0 victory over Brookline; Aidan Corriera scored with 9:12 left to give Haverhill/Pentucket a 1-1 tie with NH East – Jacob Giacalone with a goal 13 seconds into the second period for NHE; Wellesley’s Sullivan and Natick’s Eli Kaplan swapped second-period goals 18 seconds apart to end the scoring and the teams went on to a 2-2 tie; and Kevin O’Keefe scored twice, snapping a 2-2 tie with 21 seconds left in the second period as Melrose downed Waltham 5-2 – Matt Hickey and Don Drago with 1-1-2 apiece in the win.
In the East, Joe Hansen scored twice, Joe Cornish had 1-1-2 and Jacob Fox two assists in Wilmington’s 7-1 victory over Billerica; Jack Berube had 1-1-2 and Kevin DeMichaelis had two assists in Andover’s 5-1 win over Amesbury; Connor Donovan wore the hat and had an assist, No. 37 scored twice and No. 17 posted 1-1-2 in Marblehead’s 6-1 victory over South Boston; Bruno Tavila scored four goals, John Stafford posted 1-1-2 and Ryan Cain had two assists as Natick downed Lynnfield/Saugus 7-3 – Scoppettuolo with a hat trick in the loss; and Dylan Sadowski’s 1-1-2 helped the Edge top Cape Ann 5-2 – Alex Cusumano with assists on both goals in the loss.
Newburyport won twice in the West. Jack Spalding delivered 2-1-3, Harrison Dahn had three assists, Grady Childs scored twice and Tom Bugler posted 1-1-2 in Newburyport’s 6-4 victory over the Edge – Dario Leach with 1-1-2 and Cam Cole two assists in the loss – and Childs wore the hat and had an assist, Spalding clicked for 2-2-4, Liam Smith had 1-2-3 and Bugler 1-1-2 in a 10-3 win over Stoneham;
Jackson Johnson scored what turned out to be the winner with 1:43 left in the second period as Reading edged the Sharks 3-2; Sam Blackwell capped a hat trick with the goal that turned out to be the winner with 6:42 left, Zach Sarasin had 1-2-3 and Kaleb Jakola three assists as North Central nipped Parkway 5-3 – Nikolas Reginato with two goals and Bailey Chan two assists in the loss’ O’Connell wore the hat, scoring the goal that proved to be the winner with 2:26 left in the second period and Kelley had two assists as Hyde Park edged the Outlaws 5-4 – John Todd with 2-1-3 and Joe Aubut 1-1-2 in the loss; Keegan Butler pitched a shutout as Danvers topped Greater Lowell 2-0; Devin clicked for 2-1-3 and Bocchino pitched a shutout in Lynn’s 4-0 victory over Reading; and David Romm went for 2-1-3, Gavin Cassidy also scored twice, Kalkstein posted 1-1-2, Jacob White and Derek Duplessis each had two assists and Mihir Singh pitched a shutout as Concord-Carlisle defeated Acton-Boxboro 7-0.
In the North, Payton Palladino pitched a shutout and Brendan Gruenberg scored twice in Masco’s 3-0 victory over Lexington/Bedford; Jack Walsh’s second goal of the third period, with 5:21 left, turned out to be the winner and Matt Gaetano had two assists as Andover overcame five goals by Palladino and three assists by Gruenberg and edged Masco 6-5; and Liam Spratt’s second goal of the game, with 3:07 left, gave Stoneham a 2-1 decision over Cape Ann.
Waltham won twice and Andover and Newton both won a game and tied each other in the South. Mark O’Neil and Ramin Kiani both wore hats, O’Neil with two assists, Brock Doucette and Mike Cormier both dished out three goals, Jack Cicconi and Cam Lotfi both posted 1-1-2 and Emily McHugh and Anthony Lampasona each also had two assists in Waltham’s 9-2 win over Agawam – and Doucette capped a hat trick with the goal that turned out to be the winner with 4:55 left as Waltham edged the Outlaws 3-2, O’Neil with two assists in the win; Aidan Foley and Charlie Beams both scored twice, Foley with an assist in a 6-2 victory over Melrose; Nikolas Kadiyala went for 2-2-4, Andrew Cerone also scored twice, Felipe Avila posted 1-12 and William Drake two assists in Newton’s 9-3 win over SMS, Evan Hauck with 1-2-3 and Jack Young two goals in the loss – and Kadiyala scored his second goal of the game with 3:34 left, just 16 seconds after Andover took a 3-2 lead, giving Newton a 3-3 tie, Tyler Neal and Max Todisco with two assists apiece for Andover.
Kevin Feeney scored four goals and Mike Guiney had a goal and two assists in Natick’s 6-1 win over the Cyclones; Baker wore the hat, Wolohan posted 1-2-3 and Bleau also had two assists as the Crusaders downed Nashoba 6-2—Carlos Dion with two goals in the loss; Ryan Linabury scored twice, his second goal turning out to be the winner with 1:05 left in the second period, Josh Austin also scored twice and Max Cuozzi had two assists as Twin City downed Nashoba 5-3 – Cam Mical with two goals in the loss; Logan Humphrey scored with 10:25 left to give Marblehead a 2-2 tie with Wakefield; Ed Hassler and Anthony Luongo shared the shutout and AJ Ramey scored both goals in Belmont’s 2-0 win over the Sharks;
In the East, Colby Pigott wore a natural hat and Josh Dube came close to a shutout before Trent Fucci scored two late goals and Aidan Wenckus as Burlington downed Waltham 4-2; Matt McCarthy posted 1-1-2 and Ryan Melia pitched a shutout as Dorchester topped Concord-Carlisle 5-0; and Andrew Quinn scored twice, Aaron Scheri and Aidan Riley both had 1-1-2 and No. 8 two assists as Wakefield defeated Agawam 6-1.
In the West, Storey and Pickering both had two goals and an assist as
Shrewsbury topped Arlington 7-1; Johnson scored what turned out to be the winner 12 seconds into the third period and Reid posted 1-1-2 as Lynnfield/Saugus edged Framingham 4-3 – Max Bauer with two assists in the loss; and Medford downed Needham 9-4.
In the Central, Mitch Cameron came within two seconds of a shutout and Aidan Grimley, who also had an assist, scored what turned out to be the winner with 9:19 left as Methuen edged Brookline 2-1; Tewksbury nipped Belmont 3-1; Dee had two assists, six different players scored and Walsh came within 2:51 of a shutout as the Crusaders topped Chelmsford 6-1; Babeau scored twice Aubuchon pitched a shutout as Twin City stopped Newton 5-0; and Clifford, who also had an assist, scored with 12 seconds left to give Natick a 3-2 decision over Acton-Boxboro – McNeely also with a goal and an assist in the win while No. 36 scored both goals in the loss.
