Andover won twice and Woburn was 1-1-1 in the North. John Hickey snapped a 3-3 tie with 1:20 left as Andover defeated Wakefield 5-3, Luke Batchelder with 1-1-2 in the win and No. 6 1-1-2 in the loss – and Max Brodigan wore the hat, Max Dyer had 1-1-2 and Ryan Jaillet two assists in a 7-2 win over Woburn; Tortola had a goal and two assists and Powers and M. Hughes both posted 1-1-2 in Woburn’s 8-4 victory over Wilmington, Derek Perrault with two goals in the loss – and Chris Tagliaferro scored with 5:26 left, Dion Cayden followed with 3:44 remaining and Connor Jaworski capped the comeback with 43 seconds left to give NH East a 3-3 tie with Woburn, M. Dylan Miller scored two goals and set up another in Wellesley’s 6-3 victory over Waltham – and Matt Heyworth had 1-1-2 as Wellesley edged Concord-Carlisle 4-3; Bobby Morris wore the hat and Sam Clark scored twice in Reading’s 7-3 victory over Newburyport, No. 55 with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Fionn Seymour and David Dunham scored third-period goals to give Andover a 3-3 tie with Reading;
Jack Proulx tied the game with 5:08 left and Sam Stein’s second goal of the game, to go with an assist, came with 3:07 on the clock as Acton-Boxboro scored four in the third and edged North Andover 6-5 – Matt Tuel with a goal and two assists in the win and Matt Donovan 2-1-3, Sefton Paradis and Pat Nugent 1-1-2 apiece in the loss; Nolan Donovan had a goal and an assist to help the Railers past Natick 3-1; William Paynter’s second goal of the game, with 8:28 left, gave Framingham a 2-2 tie with SMS; Bono and Abraham scored in the second period as Concord-Carlisle trimmed Triboro 3-1; and Phineas Norton and Mike Dango shared the shutout and Todd Moore scored with 7:05 left as the Edge nipped Newburyport 1-0.
Lexington/Bedford won twice in the South. T.Z. Snail and Jack Santonelli scored two goals and set up another and John Campos also scored twice in an 8-1 victory over Newton – and Alex Hughes scored twice and Grady Culhabe had two assists in a 5-2 triumph over Charlestown;
Owen Hanson scored two goals and dished out two assists and Seamus Cullen posted 1-1-2 as S&S topped Marblehead 5-1; Milne scored twice and McWhinnie had 1-1-2 in Burlington’s 4-1 win over Somerville; Cam Sheehan snapped a 2-2 tie with 5:58 left and Nathan Tremlett (1-1-2) followed 38 seconds later to give Medford a 5-2 victory over Burlington – Heldenberg with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Shane Doe scored five goals, including four straight, and set up another, No. 40 scored twice and Foley pitched a shutout in Somerville’s 8-0 victory over Newton.
