In the only game in the holiday week, Timmy Sullivan wore the hat and had an assist and Kyle Mackeen had a goal and an assists as Warriors Griffin trimmed Warriors Kneeland 7-5 – Stickney with four goals and an assist in the loss.
In the only game in the North, Declan McLean, Tighe Salsman and Daniel Chan all scored twice, Sean Tattan had a goal and an assist and Cole Mathews pitched a shutout as the Americans scored a big win over the Mustangs.
There were no games in the South.
In the only East contest, Cam Amero tied the game with 3:34 left and Mike Millett, who also had two assists, broke the tie with 53 seconds remaining as the Dragons nipped the Meerkats 9-7 – Mike Ronan with two goals and an assist and Keira Twomey two assists in the win and Zac Guelpa with a hat trick and two assists and James Caruso two goals and an assist in the loss.
There were no games in the West.
In the only game in the North, Jacob Duval wore the hat and Max Guertin posted a goal and an assist as Warriors Griffin downed Top Gun 6-1.
There were no games in the South.
In the East, Mantone delivered a goal and an assist and six different players scored in the Woburn Chiefs’ 6-3 victory over Methuen; and Lucas Tinkham and Rivard both posted two goals and an assists, Cam Lajoie had a goal and two assists and No. 14 also scored twice in the Predators’ 8-3 victory over the Rams.
In the West, Turmel handed out two assists and six different players scored as Warriors Russo topped the ‘08 Americans 6-2; and Cam Vaillancourt scored two goals and set up another, Nathan Stickney handed out three assists and Charlie Bueng also scored twice as the Gators defeated the NS Vipers 8-3 – Krokos with two goals in the loss.
In the North, Nick Nardone scored four goals, Andrew Perry dished out three assists and Nate Haley had a goal and an assist as Warriors Harb downed The Eddies 6-1; and Bettencourt wore the hat and Melanson pitched a shutout as the Stars topped the Back Knights 4-0.
In the South, Mike Rinaldi and Nicky DiMambro scored 24 seconds apart early as Warriors Kneeland topped the Rangers 4-1; and Nick Knowles’s second goal of the game, with 6:37 left, gave the Woburn Chiefs a 3-2 decision over the Americans – Nick Wesley with two assists in the win and Ryan Kavanaugh and Mike Deoreo a goal and an assist apiece in the loss.
In the East, Stone wore a natural hat over 19 seconds and went on to finish a five-goal game, Leuzzi delivered two goals and an assist, Welch had a goal and a helper and Skafis pitched a shutout in the Arrows’ big win over the Sabers; and Paul Magalhaes had a goal and an assist and Shaun Casey scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period of the Vipers’ 5-3 triumph over the Shamrocks – William Taft with two goals in the loss.
In the only game in the West, James Grady scored twice in the second period as the Falcons edged Haverhill 2-1.
The Lighthouses won both games in the North, with Greyson Pane pitching shutouts in both 7-0 wins. Dylan Campbell, Joe Lucien and No. 16 all posted a goal and an assist in the victory over the Warriors – and Logan Campbell had a goal and two assists, Dylan Campbell scored two goals in eight seconds and Jake Corcoran had a goal and an assist in the win over Tewksbury.
In the South, Connolly wore a natural hat in Amesbury’s 6-1 victory over the Chiefs; and Mike Arsenault scored with seven seconds remaining to give Tewksbury a 2-1 decision over the Chiefs.
In the East, Matt Dearborn wore the hat and added an assist, Steve Hallinam delivered two goals and two assists, No. 22 had two assists and Finn pitched a shutout as the Thrashers topped Somerville 8-0; and Gesar wore the hat, McDonald handed out three assists and Pacheco scored twice in Somerville’s 7-5 victory over Winchester – Nolan Butler wearing a hat in the loss.
In the only game in the West, Andrew Miller’s second goal of the game snapped a 2-2 tie late in the second period as the Warthogs defeated the Timbers 5-2.
